Shanghai Trip Part 9 - Hangzhou (2)

Hangzhou Part 2 will talk about 雷峰塔, this tower got related to the story of White Snake.

But, dun ask me what is that story about, i dunno ma....

this is 雷峰塔

my intention is to take the photo with the tower above my palm, but due to the photographer's fault, end up din get the effect i plan to have....

hmm, how to get to that building har?!?

wa, lucky, got escalator, if not will die if ask me to climb

actually they rebuilt the whole thing, the original tower left only a few stones...

then saw a lot of coins, ppl keep throwing coins or notes inside, of course i also follow la.....sekali strike toto leh

Post NDP '09

Last Sunday went to Esplanade to watch the NDP '09

damn crowded ok, ppl mountain ppl sea, and quite lucky, we managed to squeezed in and get a not too bad place to enjoy the show...

while we were talking talking, suddenly ppl started cheering, and something appeared, wa wa wa, got parachutes up there

while waiting, so bored and took some random shots

eh, got something is approaching

came nearer liao, dun shoot me ok

wa lao, the wind super strong sia, watch out, buddy, the sea water is sprinkling on my camera

here came a helicopter, can give a free ride?

got terrorists, fire !!!!

The Proposal opens in cinemas 20 August 2009

Yay, "The Proposal" is going to show in Singapore on 20 August 09. Starring by my all time favourite actress Sandra Bullock, so as a big fan of her, for sure i will not miss this movie. Have seen the trailer for many many times, it's really a funny show to watch. Can't wait any longer la !!!!

Shanghai Trip Part 8 - Hangzhou (1)

Always post something about Shanghai abit tiring already, right? hmm, ok, then this time talk about our trip to Hangzhou (杭州)

From Shanghai to Hangzhou actually is quite near, it takes about 2 hours if go by train. Our journey started from ChiFeng Rd Subway Station. First time taking subway there, excited la...

here came the train

the hotel room, looks like not bad hor. in fact, this is the lousiest that i'd ever stay. the bed like no mattress one lor, we felt like just sleep on a very hard board, until our back is so painful! and the toilet oso damn dirrrrty ma....*faint*

this is the famous West Lake (西湖)

we took the boat behind me to our first destination

feel like back to the old old old time in China

eh, that one is 雷峰塔?!? think so la

think is more fun to kayak here

this place is famous bcoz old old time ppl can see the moon reflection from the 3 ponds at the same time, but that is my own story la, the real one i'm not too sure, ha ha

this is one of the pond that i was bluffing about

orh zut, black glutinous rice, so so only

凉亭, a place for ppl to rest after walking for hours

nice view hor, no wonder last time, a lot of famous famous ppl like to retire here and die here. HSS, this place think u will like it, all dead ppl la.....

another one, this one is the late famous 武松, his tomb is here

岳王庙, is a temple for ppl to pay their respect to 岳飞

then we were heading to 雷峰塔, but feet very painful liao, so decided to take the bike...this driver uncle very crazy one, so crowded place he oso never break one and kept speeding, scary sia....

he told us he started biking since he is 16 or 18, so not to worry or scare, amazing
