A Piece of Summer

Yesterday night, dave & me had a task to do. 

Wanna know what was that? Here is the clue.

Haha, bingo !!! We will be your reporter for Cheer Chen's (陈绮贞) 2007 concert @ The Max Pavilion, Singapore Expo. According to her, she had completed her world tour this year and Singapore was her last stop to perform.

The show will start at 8pm, but by 7pm, dave & myself still at Chinatown, he bought the 2nd hand Nokia E65 there. Omg !!! We need to rush for the show. So, our journey begin.........

731 pm: in the MRT, he took photo, me took a nap

748 pm: we are rushing, dun block our way, excuse me !!!

753 pm: wa, camera was shakin, tremor again ?!? 

 

803 pm: yes, we made it !!!

Her performances......

Actually, i'm not the big fan of her, but dave is (although most of the songs he doesn't know the title). Overall, she sang very well on that night, especially "还是会寂寞", "华丽的冒险", "告诉我" and my favourite song "旅行的意义" (these are all her songs that i recognized  :-p ). At first, i tot it may not be full-house, but surprisingly it was. For 2nd half of the show, fans were getting excited and stood up to shake their bon bon. All i can say is nice show and great performance !!!! 

P.S. : i was warned not to take picture during the show, but as a reporter for chappallang.blogspot.com, i have to.....

  

Watch, Out !!!

Went to Army Market at Beach Rd yesterday to look for a new bag and engrave my ring. After walk walk see see a few rounds still couldn't get a bag that i like, no joke, the weather was so damn hot and i kept sweating. Suddenly, something was catching my attention. OK, at least managed to get something in that "hot" trip.

What did i get?!? Dang dang.......

Yes, it's a new watch, and it's huge !!!!

It looks really nice especially on my hand, right? :-p

OK, now it's time to get rid of my 3 year old DKNY.

But, it looks ok and still working wor !!!! So wasted ma.....

OK, dun blink, see carefully......

What's the problem, just change the straps will do, right? FYI, the straps is more expensive than my new watch leh.....

Dun worry, i will still keep the DKNY until i find a cheaper straps for it :-D

The Saddest Moment

Plan to write something on Thursday, but something really bad has happened until no mood to write anything, someone has left us.........

After that day, we will not have the chance to laugh at him, gossip n talk something bad about him. Fortunately, we're still able to had the last lunch with him at Ellenborough Market Cafe, Swisshotel Merchant Court.

During that lunch, everybody was very emotional. Although the food is damn fantastic, but who had the mood to enjoy it? Most of us cried out loud, sobbed while eating, some even gone crazy during the lunch. Wat?!? Gone crazy? Cried? Wow, so unbelievable !!!! OK OK, let me show u the saddest moment that i had captured

个人推荐 ： 一刻永恒, 我自问, 蛮不讲理, 你生, 十蚊鸡流浪记

一直以来都非常喜欢古巨基这位歌手，也非常期待他的作品。终于，赶在《The Magic Moments 2007 演唱会》到来之前，基仔推出了他今年的全新广东大碟《MOMENTS》。首支主打就带来了气势磅礴的 “钱钱钱钱”，相信将会是演唱会的开幕歌曲。歌曲以钱做题材来叙述现实香港人的价值观，但美中不足的是此曲有着之前大热的“劲歌金曲”的影子，以及略嫌歌曲过长而显得有点拖泥带水。

大碟一开始的 “一刻永恒”，歌曲非常贴近专辑的主题，被选为专辑的序曲，它没让人失望，是一首值得推崇的佳作。新专辑也延续了上一张大碟《Human我生》的风格与概念，如 “你生” 仿佛便是 “我生” 的续集，不过个人却较喜欢这支延续版。同时，“我自问” 便与去年在香港勇夺年度金曲的 “爱得太迟” 如出一辄，相新 “我自问” 也将会延续 “爱得太迟” 的热力，迅速地成为排行榜上的冠军歌曲。

除此之外，新专辑也不乏其他佳作，比如打着温柔牌的 “爱回家”，忧伤的 “自我安慰”，以及个人偏爱的“蛮不讲理”。值得一提的是基仔也挑战及尝试了 “十蚊鸡流浪记” 这类小品，70年代的曲风，在基仔轻轻地哼唱下，让人有些想念起歌神许冠杰。

虽然古巨基在这张全新大碟没做出大胆的改变，还是延用着一惯的古氏情歌，庆幸地，专辑中不乏好歌，大大提高了可听性。对歌迷而言，将近一年来的等待以及期待，都是值得的！
