A Decision

After 1600++ days working in Prudential, eventually on this day, 28 March 2008, decided to say goodbye to all my "comrade" (although not too many are still stay). It's really a hard decision to be made.

From now on until April 30, will try to cherish every moment and everything that happen here. So sad sia .......

最近, 台湾出现了一把好声音, Joanne王若琳, 带来了她个人的首张专辑. 首支主打歌*Let's Start From Here*, 已在各大电台强力的热播下, 让人对这把磁性的嗓音留下了深刻印象.

*Let's Start From Here* 是如此的慵懒, 尤其在凉凉的天气下,感觉更甚, 是首非常有意境的作品. 英文版比中文版的*迷宫*要来得动听.

其实, 个人比较喜欢*有你的快乐*, 很妙的是, 这首歌却是英文版的*Lost In Paradise*稍微逊色了一些. 很喜欢这类mid-tempo的歌曲, 因为让人有些想随着歌曲而摆动身体的冲动.

专辑中的12首英文歌和5首中文歌都非常出色, 比如*Now* and *For No Reason*, 都是动听的佳作. 从新谱上英文歌词的*爱很简单*, I Love You, 带来了不一样的味道. 不知是不是先入为主原因, 始终觉得中文版比较感动.

总括来说, 这是一张非常出色的专辑, 是近年来难得一见的作品, 赞 !

New Gadget - Creative Zen MP3 Player

Think i have gone crazy, keep buying new gadget!

Here is the new toy, new Creative Zen media player with 4GB built-in storage space and it comes with a SD card slot, so you can just expand the storage space by putting in the extra SD card into the slot, amazing right? It costs about SGD192, pretty cheap right? The player is really value for money, can play various kind of music files, video clips and photos, FM Radio, organizer and recording function as well. But one complain here, the whole thing very plastiky. Think Creative should improve a lil' bit in this area.





By the way, this player is not mine ma, just helping ppl to upload some songs only.

New Gadget - Nokia 6500

Just helping my sister to purchase Nokia 6500 today. At first planned to buy the silver color one, but once i saw its black color body, omg, irresistible......much better sia (maybe just bcoz i like black color, or it just looks good when i'm holding it ;-))

The overall build is solid, the weight is just nice, and surprisingly not too big in size, the most important thing is the system performance is not at all lag, very different from the previous Nokia 7610 smart phone, nightmare!!!!

So sis, wait lah, let me play play for a while before pass it to u, since i'm one of the stake holder ma :-p

My First Cooking (Slow-Cooker Version)

Suddenly feel like wanna try to cook. Of course i cook before, maggie mee la, egg-mayo la, soup la, but this is my first time to cook by using slow cooker. OK, the first try, my all time favourite, Peanut Soup, yummy....

Here are the ingredients:

Dang dang, after one and a half hours later, here is the result

Har, what is that? all black see nothing leh....

Aiyo, one and a half hours later, the newly bought slow-cooker spoiled ma and electricity being cut-off, ka na sai, my first cooking session FAILED !!!!

First Visit to St. James

Clients from Taiwan came to Singapore for a meeting, of course as the host, we need to bring them to have dinner and entertain them with some Singapore stuffs.

So our first place to go is Lao Par Sat food centre to try satay, since it's just opposite our office ma, and 830 already, still not yet had my dinner leh, damn hungry la.

wow, food, delicious, i was hungry liao la. wuahhahaha, Miaoyi is very funny, the first food being served was chicken wings, she asked "So, these are satay?", of course I answered her in the very sincere and polite way "These are roasted chicken wings, madam, can't tell meh?", but she stared fiercefully at me, really dunno why?!?

So, after the dinner @ Lao Par Sat, here came the entertainment time. Miaoyi requested have to bring her to clubbing, so we decided to try St. James Power Station, since we all never been there before.

Here we come, St. James !

After a while, then we decided to go to the other one to have a look, since just need to pay once then u can go around with free entry.
