On The Flyer

Last Saturday, me and Jac went to take a ride on Singapore Flyer. Thanks for Joanne for giving us the 10 bucks ticket vouchers. I think there must be a million same kind of vouchers out there. when we reached the ticket booth, omg, damn long queue can !!!!

But no choice lor, since we were there, have to queue lor, and i think we spent 45 minutes to get the tickets. Yeah, finally we got it !!! Here is the brochure.

Birthday Party @ New Asia Bar

Friday nite was a chill out nite. We were celebrating CW and TY's birthday at New Asia Bar. Besides alcohol and finger food, of course we also prepared a birthday cake surprise for both of them. And the whole nite expenses are sponsored by our H.O.D, thanks JL, yay !!!

Belated Celebration @ Settler

Last Saturday, Me, Jeffery, Joanne and Faked Jane went to Settler Cafe near The Central to celebrate Joanne's 2xth Birthday. We have chosen 2 hours session plus freeflow of drinks package. We didn't have anything in mind which game to start, so we decided to ask the shop assistant for help to recommend us a brainless game. He recommended us UGLYDOLL as a starter.

UGLYDOLL is a very simple card game. All we need to do is just close all the cards and each of us open one card at a time until 3 cards with the same doll appear, then all of us just grab those cards with that particular doll. That's all, simple, easy but fun and excited !!!! It's really a good game to warm us up.

After that, we tried on this JUNGLE SPEED. It's another similar card game as UGLYDOLL, just need a lil' bit more of our brain cells. Divide all the cards equally into 4, then each of us open a card at a time. If there are 2 cards with the same shape, then the 2 who have the same card need to grab the wooden tower, whoever managed to grab the tower can pass all his/her opened cards to the one who lose, then the game continues. Whoever can clear all his/her cards, that fellow will be consider as the winner. There are a few special cards to spice up the excitement of the game, such as cards to switch from shape to color. Quite a fun game, but until the end i still quite blur and not really sure wat's going on, that's why i loss, :-( !!!!

Then we switched to this game called CLUZZLE. This is something like Taboo, everybody get a card with a list of items, then we need to use Playdoh and come out with shape or anything that can help your opponents guess what is the item u have chosen. Here are out of 10 items that we have made, try to make a guess what r those, enjoy !!!! 

So, managed to get the answers for the 10 items above? Quite difficult though, especially with the very blurred picture, hahahaha!!!! OK OK, let me reveal the answers here:

It's quite a nice place to relax and have fun, especially after so tired and pressured with work.

It's All About Food.....

Try to clean up the photo album in my iPhone, found that inside no other kind of photos but only food. Still thinking wanna try to get slimmer, looking at all the sinful stuff, dun think 62kg is achievable sia....

First we have food at the hongkong cafe @ Bugis Junction (can't really remember the name of that cafe)

just fruits? very healthy sia

ice-blended rambutan + pineapple, interesting and really refreshing

Arg !!!! i wanna keep fit and get slimmer lah !!!!!

A Special Half-Day Tour

Last week, cat, fish and me were so bored until din know where should we hang out after window shopping and having our lunch. Cat just kept driving his car aimlessly. I told him i wanna take some photo at the paddy fields (i always think of doing that, just keep forget about it). After the suggestion, he seems like had an idea where to bring us, so there started our journey for that day.

Our first stop was at a jetty. The scenery is really nice, but i din bring a camera along, so can just took the photo with my SE W850i. Here are some photo at that jetty.  

I was thinking to take some sunset photo here, it would be very nice. But too bad, it was just 4pm, the sun wun set so soon. so we decided to continue our journey. Along the way while the car was moving, i still managed to capture a few shots as well. 

Cat suggested to go to the seaside bcoz he wanna buy salted fish. So, we were heading to the seaside. Here are a few photos at the seaside.

After he bought the salted fish, we decided to end our journey. Along the way when we were heading back home, we saw a group of birds (dunno what birds are those) standing in the middle of the paddy fields. Cat and fish asked me to take some photos with those birds (excuse me, i'm just using handphone, no zooming feature la, how to take, they are so damn far away !)

That was the end of our special half day trip. Maybe some of u quite interested to know where is this place, dun ask me ! bcoz if i tell u? u also dunno. wanna bring u there? it's too far, haa haa :-p

First Visit to St. James

Clients from Taiwan came to Singapore for a meeting, of course as the host, we need to bring them to have dinner and entertain them with some Singapore stuffs.

So our first place to go is Lao Par Sat food centre to try satay, since it's just opposite our office ma, and 830 already, still not yet had my dinner leh, damn hungry la.

wow, food, delicious, i was hungry liao la. wuahhahaha, Miaoyi is very funny, the first food being served was chicken wings, she asked "So, these are satay?", of course I answered her in the very sincere and polite way "These are roasted chicken wings, madam, can't tell meh?", but she stared fiercefully at me, really dunno why?!?

So, after the dinner @ Lao Par Sat, here came the entertainment time. Miaoyi requested have to bring her to clubbing, so we decided to try St. James Power Station, since we all never been there before.

Here we come, St. James !

First stop, dragonfly. Why we chose this to go first? because only this one has Mandarin and Cantopop live bands performances in St. James.
