My First Project as a Backup Photographer

21 Dec 2008 was a very special day for me, because the event on that day was my very 1st project as a backup photographer. Here are a few shots for that day event:

Think my skill still not there yet and need a lot of improvements, but i swear i will add some more oil to make it better !

Fireworks Show 2008

Last Friday, went to the Fireworks Show 2008. Actually, should have posted it earlier, but too many photos and too lazy to organize them. :-p

On The Flyer

Last Saturday, me and Jac went to take a ride on Singapore Flyer. Thanks for Joanne for giving us the 10 bucks ticket vouchers. I think there must be a million same kind of vouchers out there. when we reached the ticket booth, omg, damn long queue can !!!!

But no choice lor, since we were there, have to queue lor, and i think we spent 45 minutes to get the tickets. Yeah, finally we got it !!! Here is the brochure.

Gala Premier : MNE2

Went for Money Not Enough 2 Gala Premier on Monday @ Vivocity with WP.  After our dinner, straight away went up to cinema area to redeemed the tickets from omy.sg counter.

So, is the show nice? cannot give comment here, go and watch urself....all i can say is "it's different from what i was expected"

Vain-est Day

Hohohoho, today is totally a vain day for me. Went for photo shooting session @ SNAPZ studio.

The photographer kept asking me to pose this and that, until my leg cramped lor. 

He took around 30 shots, but only can choose 2 of them. So I picked this 2. Why I chose these 2 shots? Because damn difficult to pose like that ok, jumping upside down.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX36

All along is a supporter of Panasonic Lumix cameras. From my very first digital camera, FZ10, which was bought in 2004, until DMC-LX1 in 2005, L1 in 2007 and now FX36 in 2008, can tell how stubborn I am in terms of camera brand ;-)

Today, I would like to share with you my new camera FX36 here. Panny, dun get offended here ok, this is not a camera review kind of post (I'm not so professional la), just wanna share some experiences after using this camera.

Before i decided to buy this camera, i was comparing 3 models, FX520, TZ15 and FX36. FX520 got touch screen plus 5x optical zoom, TZ15 is 10x optical zoom, but both also out of my budget. So, no choice, after received the eQuote from Cathay Photo, straight away went to the shop and got it.

OK, so here is my new camera, Panny Lumix DMC-FX36, 25mm wide angle lens, 4x optical zoom, 10 megapixels, HD-quality video recording, came with 4GB SD card plus a case.

My Converse, some test shot using different ISO setting, i think most of the people will concern about Panny's performance in higher ISO, bcoz of the noise that generated.

ISO 100 (100% crop)

ISO 200 (100% crop, noise start visible)

ISO 400 (100% crop, a bit grainy)

ISO 800 (100% crop, noise !)

ISO 1600 (100% crop, hmm, as usual, the problem still there)

So far, still satisfy with the results and image quality produced by this compact camera, and it's quite value for money. Will I recommend this camera to frens? Definitely! Dun forget, I'm a fan of Panny, and I'm very stubborn, hahaha!!!

It's All About Food.....

Try to clean up the photo album in my iPhone, found that inside no other kind of photos but only food. Still thinking wanna try to get slimmer, looking at all the sinful stuff, dun think 62kg is achievable sia....

First we have food at the hongkong cafe @ Bugis Junction (can't really remember the name of that cafe)

sweet and sour fish, this one quite nice, especially unknown leaves surrounding the rice

hor fun and almond milk tea

canto style lontong? no la, it's curry mee

lobster spaghetti from coffee club (super duper nice)

garlic prawn spaghetti

at jumbo, no food photo taken, bcoz finished already only realised not yet take any photo, but still can tell wat food we're having, chili crab, fried baby squids, dou miao, deep fried tofu, cereal prawn

what?!? coffee club again? it's nice ma

just fruits? very healthy sia

but dip into this sinful choco then another story liao

superb mud pie in town, yum yum

ice-blended rambutan + pineapple, interesting and really refreshing

the only photo in the iPhone that is not about food, but.......

Arg !!!! i wanna keep fit and get slimmer lah !!!!!
